Yeah, verily, I was pleased.

When I left class I thought it was misting rain, but then I noticed there was white on my coat.  Walking home from the T, snow was falling complete with streetlights, like in the movies.  ♥

My mom e-mailed me this morning:Subject: makin' my girl happy

there's snow blowing outside my window

I'm home today, so it's in Norwood ..... but still ....
It had not yet started snowing where I was, but by mid-morning it had, and the snow got bigger as the day went on.  Looking out the window continued to make me happy ( Read more... )

Well, the morning commute was no big deal (I'd guess about an inch of snowfall and the flakes falling were small, though kinda coarse), but I expect the evening commute to be worse with the whole freezing rain thing. Friday: winter

MaryAlice went to go outside at one point (10:30 maybe?) and with her hooded coat and her scarf you could barely see her face.  I laughed, as I couldn't quite bring myself to wear gloves that morning.

I went over to Morgan (a building next door to mine) mid-afternoon in just my sweater, loving it.
